From March 23-27, sixteen spring break art campers joined artist Patrick Grigsby at the Harn Museum Spring Break Camp for a five day whirlwind production. Grigsby, interested in exploring how to offer a large art making / installation opportunity to artists aged 8 – 14, found a location at the Harn Museum in Gainesville for collaborative efforts with young students. The finished work of the campers will remain installed in the Harn Museum for a few weeks near the entrance to the Camellia Court Café located on the lower level of the contemporary gallery in the Mary Ann Harn Cofrin Pavilion. The installation features assembled painted papers, ink drawings, and color prints created throughout the week.
